You are among the first to see something new from AOPA for 2009.
General aviation makes news every day. But I only recently realized how many positive and inspiring stories are out there because they are so often missed by the major news organizations.
During the transition to my new role as AOPA president, I have read a lot of general aviation news clippings. Sometimes I am reminded of that saying, "If you are not panicked, then you do not fully understand the situation." I say this because there is much that could send panic through our ranks from time to time. However, there is also much that offers encouragement.
I want to share with you the kinds of stories that we at AOPA look at every day as part of our job. With Aviation eBrief you, too, can quickly scan current stories for items of interest. The goal is to make sure all of us in general aviation do, to borrow the phrase, fully understand the situation.
Aviation eBrief is free and will be made available to anyone who wishes to sign up for it whether they are an AOPA member or not. I want to reach the broadest possible audience with Aviation eBrief to share the news about general aviation. And, you can help:
First, SIGN UP right now to continue receiving Aviation eBrief, which will always be free. Then ...
If you know someone who might be interested, forward this issue to them and invite them to sign up.
If you see a story we should be aware of, send it to our editor.
If you have ideas about how we can make this publication more interesting, let us hear from you.
And, if you are in the general aviation business anywhere and want to share a news release or other news about your organization, send it to Alyssa Miller at Alyssa.miller@aopa.org.
All of us at AOPA take great pride in telling the general aviation story. With Aviation eBrief, we hope you'll agree, we have found one more way to share our passion for aviation!
As always, I would enjoy hearing your feedback.
Best regards,
Craig L. Fuller
